LOCATION:

Ancient Nubia is along both sides of the lower half of the Nile.

CLIMATE:

From April-November the temperatures go above 110 degrees fahrenheit. From December-March the winds give off intense heat.

The largest temple complex in the world. This temple is actually made of three smaller temples for the gods Mut, Montu, and Amun.


Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir el-Bahari:

This Temple was built by Queen Hatshepsut and was placed in a cliffby the west bank of the Nile River.
