Ancient China

LOCATION:

Ancient China is west is west of the Pacific Ocean and east of the Himalayas and Kunlun mountian ranges.It is also south of the South of the Gobi Dessert.

CLIMATE:

From March-September China has heavy rains, and for the rest of the year there is light rain.

SITE:

Himalayas:

The mountain range west of India. THis mountain range starts from the Indus River to the Irrawaddy River.

Gobi Dessert:

The dessert in the northern part of China. This dessert is in the Mongola part of the map.

The Great Wall of China:

The Great Wall ofChina goes across mountains and plains in northern China.

EVENTS:

Operas:

The Chinese operas  are based in traditional stories. The costumes are very fancy, yet the sets of the stage are very basic.
